Day 1: Arusha – Lake Manyara
This morning after breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara and start the safari with an afternoon game drive after lunch.
Lake Manyara National Park is home to a diverse set of landscapes and wildlife. With over two-thirds of Lake Manyara National Park being under water there are over 400 bird species, many of which stay all year. Flocks of pelicans and flamingos inhabit the lake and during the wet season thousands of flocks of flamingos can be seen at the lakes edge. The park and its environs are also home to herbivores such as hippos, impalas, elephants, wildebeests, buffalo, warthogs and giraffes.Overnight at the Kirurumu Camp on full board basis.
Day 2: Serengeti National Park
After breakfast drive to the vast Serengeti plains arriving in time for lunch at the Serengeti Serena Lodge. After a rest period, embark on an afternoon game viewing drive. Overnight at the Serengeti Sopa Lodge on full board basis.
Day 3: Serengeti National Park
Spend a full day on safari tracking game through the inspiring landscapes of the Serengeti. Return to the lodge for lunch. Witness the immensity of the park and the amazing numbers of hoofed animals (zebra, wildebeest, antelopes…) as well as predators it shelters during another exciting afternoon game viewing drive. Overnight at Serengeti Sopa Lodge on full board basis.
Day 4: Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After breakfast drive to Ngorongoro via Olduvai Gorge, known as the “berth of humanity’ for the remains of prehistoric inhabitants that were unearthed there, arriving in time for lunch, which is served at the lodge. In the afternoon, descend into the crater for an extraordinary safari at the bottom of this collapsed volcano, where a variety of habitats shelter an amazing array of wildlife, surrounded by spectacular scenery. Overnight at the Ngorongoro Serena Lodge on full board basis.
Day 5: Arusha – Departure
After breakfast, depart for Arusha where you have lunch. Proceed to the airport afterwards for your homebound flight.
